Listen as I debate the Gaza boycott and the tragic events surrounding the boarding of a Turkish-flagged ship trying to run the blockade with Gretta Vosper, Minister at the West Hill United Church in Toronto Canada and founder of the Centre for Progressive Christianity on the John Oakley Show on AM 640 Radio in Toronto June 8.

The debate included two segments

Who the heck is Gretta Vosper??

Anyway, great debate! You were tough on her, but still polite and respectful. I especially liked the way that you refused to let her get away with switching the subject when you were pointing out her mistakes.

While listening to this horrid anti-Semite I thought of how the English wit Dr Johnson viewed the offerings of women preachers - “Sir, a woman preaching is like a dog walking on his hind legs. It is not done well, but you are surprised to find it done at all.”

Ah yes, the United Church... that pro-homosexualist sodomy-affirming coven where doctrine evolves monthly and "the karma ran over their dogma."

Or as we call it: the NDP/Planned Parenthood at worship.

Good for you Joseph, but I doubt it was hard, they don't bat for Christ's team,so she could only posit emotion, not logic.

If memory serves, Gretta Vosper is the United Church's poster-child for that liberal progressivism that even denies the existence of Divine personality. It's pretty lame.

That being said, I find the nonsensical, appeal to mere feelings in her argumentation very weak, and extremely middle-class to say the least. If Canada was facing a neighbour that officially denied our very existence, and our very right to live, and was routinely the source of terrorist incidents within our own country, I'd be very tempted to do two things: build a wall, and form a blockade.

This is a typical rant by the righteous left to impose it will without the facts.Isreal would not exist if it did not take the actions to potect itself in a region where no one wants it to exist

I think that Greta lives in a world that does not exist. How many peace treaties have been signed with no peace resulting. The Koran compels Muslims to be truthful unless dealing with infidels. By definition an infidel is any non-Muslim. So to think that Hamas will be truthful is absurd. Israel has the right to defend itself by re-active and pro-active measures.

The new Sun TV News channel is asking the public to suggest possible personalities for its programming. I'd like to suggest Joseph.

Anyone who agrees with me should go to http://www.suntvnews.ca/sun-personalities/ and submit his name using the suggestion box on the right side of the page.

Maybe Gretta Vosper should read the following two books. "Now they call me Infidel" by Nonie Darwish and "Because they Hate" by Bridgette Gabriel. Islam is among the best in the world for spinning their proaganda by first creating the crisis and then crying foul when people defend themselves.
